You can gloat all you want, but I wouldn't. Because now starts the more gruesome test for any author, especially a male one: writing a relationship.
They can write the before, sure, with the longing and the hiding and the secrets; and they can write the big moments, like the first kiss or when she cheats or when they fight; but the day-to-day affairs, the feeling of two people being in a relationship, like Sandra Fuhr can and has? That is hard.
Feel free to gloat, thought. I wouldn't want to rob you of such sweet joy, fleeting as it will be...
Ever since I read it, I was SO waiting to see your post about it. It was simply not possible that you won't have anything to say about it. Didn't he do it just brilliantly? :-)
