I stopped reading at around book #9 (and stopped buying them at around #7) because it felt like he was really stalling for time and not actively trying to get anywhere. Stalling is not not something to do when you have millions of expectant fans and an incurable fatal disease, but there you have it.

I expect the last one will be published, one way or another. There really is way too much money involved.
