Oh yeah, I'm in California.
I've been back in Santa Cruz for, oh, 2 months now. It's been laid back, which is a nice change from how things were in the spring. I'm still working intermittently (writing conference abstracts and proceedings papers, editing other proceedings papers when I get up the nerve, and reading a dissertation or two). Other than that, I've been chilling out with people when I get the chance, eating the foods and drinking the beers. There is very little to report.
I go back to Massachusetts in about a month. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet.
