the weekend
I had a really good weekend. My friend Ben came down from the suburbs and we had a fairly low key and relaxing weekend sprinkeled with some awesome philisophical conversation. Also I got my awesome hat that he knitted. . . after some large number of months hehe. . I bought the yarn when I visited him before the holidays. Anyway it's a fantastic hat. . I keep wearing it inside still. there is a picture of me wearing it on FB.
let's see, we watched Evil dead the musical, baked awesome bread, I cooked more than I had in a long time, and got introduced to Better off Ted. I'm finishing up the last ep of the series now.
I'm about to go to sleep. . . but first a list of things I'm greatful for.
1. I'm greatful for friends who visit and want me to come up to the chicago area (or madison) to visit them.
2. I'm greatful for well written and funny t.v. shows.
3. I'm greaful for people who make things.
4. I'm greatful for my job and nice people to work with.
5. I'm greatful for my car.
6. I'm greatful for being able to bike to work most days
7. I'm greatful for having enough money for things I need and unexpected expenses.
8. I'm greatful for gaming with people good at role playing.
9. I'm thankful for people still asking me to join them in things like SCA stuff, and watching movies, and anything else that I don't often make time to do but keep asking until I do.
10, I'm thankful for getting to have lunch (and other meals) with good friends old and new.
11. I'm thankful for finding time to exercise and eating healthy.
12. I'm greatful for being healthy.
13. I'm thankful for getting enough sleep and remembering my dreams. :)
