I used to work for these folks...all be it for a short...but profitable period. I guess I am not part of that figure though...I wouldn't dream of working for so little money
It asked London Underground for £551m to cover costs for upgrading parts of the Tube system and was given £121m by the PPP regulator.
The sad thing is according to my "source" LU actually agreed they should do the work, and at the cost they did it for.
Then the regulator said no you can't have that much money you are making too much profit.
I can personally vouch for the way they spend money, ie easily, but there is no way the extra £400m is fat.
