This takes me back to right before I left Manila to move to the US. Wolfgang was my favourite band, which is surprising because they play heavy metal, and I am not the heavy metal kind of girl. Admittedly, I got hooked on this band after they performed Jesus Christ Superstar (and yes, I am the Broadway kind of girl). And to this day, I have not heard "Heaven On Their Minds" played with so much raw passion on an electric guitar. The first few riffs of the first few bars of the opening act of Jesus Christ Superstar got me very very hooked, and I fell in love with the band. I loved them so much and played their songs over and over so much that my then very young kid brothers can sing entire albums in their sleep.

I rub off on them, of course.

I've got awesome musical taste.

I must admit, I really haven't the foggiest idea what became of Wolfgang. I know some of them moved to the US too, formed a band called Lokomotiv, then...moved back to Manila? I really don't know.

But a blast from the past from the very very talented Wolfgang. More in Youtube where this came from! Enough to keep me in Memory Lane for the rest of the night.
