Sending printed samples to DAW and Realms of Fantasy today. In apparent reward for finally getting off my duff and doing the self-promotion I've been saying I would do all month, my Freedom of Teach model is also supposed to show up today, assuming the Postal Gods favor me.
I'm also mostly whacking away at doing some personal work for today, I think, since I'm not terribly busy; I'm stuck in the thumbnailing/process phase I seem to do lately where I do a page full of thumbnails, get one or two acceptable results, do a color rough, and then I'm not sufficiently impressed with it to keep going, so it's back to square one. This is probably because I used to just persist and finish them, and then I'd end up with a lackluster painting - particularly annoying since my personal work gets finished in dribs and drabs over the course of a month or so. Now everything has to pass the "Yes, but do I like it enough to stare at it for a month?" test, and frequently fails.
Aaaanyway, I'm sure I'll hit on something eventually, and I'm sure the thumbnailing practice does me good in the meantime.
