Oh poop - or maybe not
My computer totally freaked on me last night and I had no choice to shut it down. I panicked through out the night trying to figure out what I had to do to get what I needed before it exploded, and how on earth was I going to get it fixed. Woke up this morning and darn thing was fine again. I'm grateful, but I learned my lesson too. So I decided I'm going to purchase Apple Care, and spent part of the day trying to find my receipt. I thought I still have a few days before the year was up. Couldn't find the receipt so scoured my LJ for "I bought a new mac" posts. Just found it. And darnit, I bought it on Jan 27th, and it's too late for Apple Care now. Oh well. If it freaks again I'll just have to pay for repairs myself. In the meantime, I ordered a 500G hard drive today so that I can at least start backing up my puter on a regular basis. I felt anxious spending the $$, but I know it's for the best, and I'll save the $$ I couldn't spend freaking out and buying Apple Care.
