don't go to a gym, ever

Okay, I've been reading my neato new cool health magazine, and it said "hey jackass, stop trying to exercise, it doesn't work!" First, I thought that was rude, secondly, I don't workout anyway. Then it proceeded to tell me how to be in shape without trying, and darnit if it didn't make sense. It's called NEAT, which stands for something I can't remember. But basically, give up doing things the easy way, and just do it. Dust your house--don't hire someone. Make your dinner--don't go buy it. Walk your dog--don't hire someone (except for me, hire me!). Walk your mail to the post office--don't stick it in your box with the flag up. Park further away. Take the stairs. Get it? It's simple and makes sense.

Furthermore! When doing a study of people who live the longest around the world, they found that these old people are still working, gardening, cooking, cleaning. They move their fricken body! It seems so duh, but really we are the duh.

So today I walked my dog over to the UD and the Mac Store even let him inside. I got a case for my iPod. My dog got a great walk, and attention galore. I moved my body!

EDIT: This is for people like me who don't like structured exercise. Gyms work if you're into it!
