Norwescon mysteries

Mar 27, 2005 10:25

So, I've spent the past 70 hours of my life at Norwescon, during that time I've seen LOTS of people that I haven't seen in far too long. I've also come down with what may be, for others, con crud, but is likely for me, something I brought with me. Sorry about that. There is neat stuff to tell, but I'll get to that later, first a mystery.

Though I did not see it myself, aparently there was a takeout box left outside my room saturday night with a message inscribed upon it. Unfortunatly, I had likely allready crashed when it arrived, and it was only witnessed by lithera and the perpatrator. The message was relayed to me by lithera as "Steve, don't make me wait another night [heart]" and the box contained some rolls and butter. [any acuracy in this account should be credited to lithera, any errors are mine in the retelling]

To the perpatrator of this message: I'm sorry I did not witness it first hand, I'm even more sorry I didn't hear you knock (if you knocked). If you wish to discuss this further, please leave a message by some means. If not, feal free to leave this message gnawing at me for all time to come. Either way, the aparent sentiment is apreciated, you have made my morning better.

Now for interesting news, aparently Girl Genius is switching over to a web comic + compilation format, with three pages a week as a webcomic and the compilatios at the same schedule they have been going at so far. Serenity, the Firefly movie, may be a trilogy iff the first one does well. GURPS: Girl Genius should be done 'soon'. There will be a (card) game by the name of "SPANC (Space Pirate Amazon Ninja Catgirls) at some point, one of the objectives is to collect pool boys, and the art that I have seen (Foglio produced) is very good. Dreamcon is coming back with number 20 this halloween, be there as we attempt to not recreate windows 95 and they force me to remove Dreamcon from the list of cons I have been to the deathrattle of. Now we just need Terracon to reincarnate (maybe they will roll pixie on the 3.0 chart).
