The wait is over
Today is a good day.
I get to see Ravenfrog again for the first time in 5 weeks and I graduate from the Direct Commission Officer class. I technically have already had my commission for a couple of months now, but it seems a lot more official now that I have a clue about how to act as an officer. It is good to know how to solute and what-not.
This program has been really helpful for me and I have made a lot of friends here. I expect that I will be able to keep in touch with them over the years and it seems like it is very common to be stationed with old friends during a career since everyone moves around so much.
This is a great adventure that I intend to enjoy a great deal in the coming years.
