I was wondering exactly how the Horcrux and also Harry's blood in Voldemorts body, kept the other alive.
I understand the Horcrux, the fact that Harry was one would save Voldemort, but why shouldn't Harry being a Horcrux be able to save Harry. Meaning the Horcrux is connected to Harry, so it should protect him. And we don't find that they used AK to destroy the other horcruxes which should imply that it doesn't work. Instead we find that it does work but only destroys the Horcrux part, but not the vessel, (in this case being Harry)? With the other Horcruxes they had to destroy the vessel to rid the horcrux? If AK doesn't work on the Horcrux (which it seems to) than Harry should have been protected with that alone?
Would they have been able to use the AK on the other Horcruxes?
The other thing which I have been wondering about is Harry's blood in Voldemort's body which keeps Harry alive as long as Voldemort's alive. Shouldn't the blood have long been gone, doesn't blood replace itself? Even if the way Voldemort's ressurection worked was that all his future blood will also somehow have Harry's 'signature' on it, but shouldn't it for the very same reason keep Voldemort alive? They share the same blood? Yes, Harry is the orgin of the blood but after the fact they share the same blood and the blood is somehow connected to each other, I would think that it should act as some kind of anchor for Voldemort also?
Another thing I've been thinking about is what and si there a diffrence between how the blood anchors and how the soul anchors?
I think the Horcrux just anchors the soul, the blood anchor keeps the actual body from dying. And that is kind, I guess, what it's doing somehow holding the blood (The Physical part of the body) from leaving. But than why should Harry be thrown into limbo, the AK shouldn't cause him any harm at all?
Any thoughts?
