My life officially sucks...
Ever feel like nothing ever goes your way?
Jacob was supposed to start training at the Lexington-Fayette County Detention Center as a correctional officer. He was supposed to start on July 10.
When he called today they told him that all the positions at the school were filled up for the July-Sept. training session. They told him to call back in August to start school in September.
We were planning to get married on Saturday October 14th, and I was going to move in with him in Kentucky and we were going to be happy as a lark.
Well since he can't start school until September (hopefully september) we can't get married in October of this year.
It feels like Jacob and I get the butt end of everything.
The thing is; I'm getting SICK of living with my parents and my brother. They're driving me crazy.
I can't wait to move out of that house, and they know it. They just don't want me to.
So the wedding is off for now.
It seems like I'm more upset about this than Jacob is. Maybe he's just so used to getting disappointed by his parents or by a prospective job that it just kind of passes through him.
Any one have any open rooms/rooms for rent?
