I'm so ready to go back to school. I'm sick of framingham. I'm sick of superficial people. I'm sick of people ditching their "friends". I'm sick of people who really don't care. I love school. I love my friends there. And there are a lot of friends here who i love so much and always will but for the other people around here, I just realize how much

i think that if you are going to tell people to say things to your face etc etc you shouldnt talk to them thru your LJ comments. don't "expect" a "member" of the "FKU" to tell sarah what youre saying.

i know you love your school and college in general, its hard not to. college is an amazing experience and youll meet some of your best friends there. however, you do spend almost half the year at home. i have no problem with you saying these things on LJ... its your journal and you have every right to express your opinion. i know that you have grown up and grown out of framingham but honestly, you still live there. i just wanted to say this. i dont know if its of any importance.

and i am just going to copy and past something that i said before: we are all guilty of everything. everyone talks about people... its a normal human quality.
i did not say anything about talking crap so you have no basis to disagree with me (whoa that sounded bitchy). any large group of people is bound to talk about someone else. it happens in high school, college, and the real world. it happens in families, friends, and the work place. everyone is caddy in one way or another... it cant be avoided.

i agree that over the years the drama co has become "mean girl"-esque. and i'll admit that i was part of that. i really do appreciate that you are expressing your opinion and everything but please, dont reprimand people for not saying things to your face if all your doing is hoping that they read your LJ.

(ps... yes, hartt is on the top 5 theater schools but why make it public? its megs decision not to apply there, even if it is because she apparently cant do a shakespeare monologue. you shouldnt get offended because people dont want to go to your school. you cant control it)

i really do love you jared (and everyone else) but this is getting ridiculous. as i said before, i hate LJ fights. why not just have them in person / online? and i know i've officially taken part in one. so it goes.

Ok when i wrote this entry it was NOT directed towards anyone in particular. I meant everything i said as general statements. People took it the wrong way and blew everything out of proportion. I had nothing to say to anyone in particular, i wasnt going to like call a family meeting to talk to everyone at once. Frankly it doesnt feel much like a family anymore. Sarah d- youre right, everyone talks about people, youre absolutely right and im sorry for disagreeing with you. i mean that in all honesty. i guess what i was trying to say is that this group of people constantly talks down upon people. We basically stop what we are doing to hear an impression of some "weird drama kid" like yeah fine, everyone talks about people, but when its constantly aimed at hurting people, its not cool in my mind. YES I AM GUILTY of this as well, im not saying i didnt do it in high school.

Ive thought about this since last night and sarah you are right, i should not be mad at meg for not wanting to go to hartt. I actually am not mad at her for that reason. What i am upset about is that the fhsdc has been brainwashed to believe that nyu, emerson, and carnegie mellon are the only really well respected schools. Yes, we are told about others such as adelphi, salem, etc. However, donna always tells people they should choose nyu over these other schools. A friend of mine got into both hartt and tisch. i recall sitting in donna's office as she tried to persuade this friend that tisch was the better choice. That's fine, tisch is 50,000 dollars a year when you could be getting just as good if not better education elsewhere. Im not saying NYU isnt good, of course it is, but there are schools which donna does not inform her students of that are just as well if not more respected. However, people can choose where they want to go to school. But like, dont diss hartt in front of me. Has anyone actually researched hartt? no. people took once visit and talked to some random person (who is actually not a faculty member of the theater dept) and decided it wasnt good. Thats fine, im not mad that people dont like mad, i was just offended that people were kind of talking down about it TO me.
