Going off on Reviewers
All right.
I received a review on the thread for the first chap of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that ticked me off.

This is the review I received.
Harry/Ginny in not cannon and will not happen. JK has led Ginny away in OOTP so will not do it.
Tonks/Remus... that is just sick Remus is like 36 at minimum while Tonks is about 20-25.
Also the only Females to even considered to be even show an intrest in him closely are Fleur who is probily with Bill and Tonks who is free so I reccomend Harry/Tonks.
Would this constitute as a flame? I didn't really think so, but it offended me all the same. I'll write whatever I want. This is how I responded:
First of all, I've never said anything about what pairings there will be in this fic, or even if I'll have pairings. I don't see how a simple letter (i.e. Ginny's to Harry) could make you assume that this fic is going to be H/G. For all you know, I could make it Harry/Snape. Only time will tell.
Secondly, Ginny was not being led away from Harry in Ootp. She was given a whole lot more page time and we saw her character shine. Even JKR said that Ginny had a bigger role in Ootp. But, there's always the possibility that you and I are reading different books.
Thirdly, about the Tonks/Remus...plenty of relationships have occured with that much of an age difference, and more. My father is 8 years younger than my mother. My grandmother was 7 years older than my grandfather.
And, to be honest, you're contradicting yourself if you believe that a relationship between Harry and Tonks is plausible despite the age gap when that is the primary reason for your disdain toward Remus/Tonks.
Bottom Line: I appreciate that you have your own opinion about it, but I will do whatever I feel like doing. This is my fic; therefore, if I happen to want H/G and R/T, it will be done. If that means people review less, then so be it.
Do you guys think that was a little harsh? I mean every word, but I don't know. Half of me feels the tinsiest bit guilty, but the other half could care less.
