Evan's Birthday!
This is a bit late (ugh... what a day I had) but it's still his birthday :D So did I do anything special today? I don't really think I need to as over the last few months I've been doing something Evan related every day - mainly because of the blessing that was DWTS. So today I'm just putting my picture folders in order and watching a few skating programs and DWTS dances of his.

Click to viewHe has many lovely exhibitions to his name. Some are hilarious like "How to pick music" and some emotional like "Time to Say Goodbye" but "Forever Young" is somehow very special to me. Probably it's the song itself, the lyrics (eerily fitting for a Birthday song...) and the simplicity of the program and his costume. It just seems so honest.
Now that I've gone so emotional and all that, have something lulzy:
That's the card I've sent him for his birthday. Yes, I actually went there. I never thought I'd send a card to a celebrity but I did it. Writing to him felt terribly awkward. How do you actually write to a person you have never met (and probably never will) but whom in some respects you know better than your friends. It's kinda creepy how I know more about his music/film taste than about the tastes of most of my aquaintances. Anyway, filling in this card took me over an hour. It turned out very formal and stiff which is an odd contrast to the elephant (I wanted to buy one with a baby turtle, as he loves them but there weren't any... I ended up telling him that in the post script to creep him out even more... lol). Anyway, I hope he gets it. I sent it to him as a part of the ELFF (Evan Lysacek Fan Forum http://z9.invisionfree.com/evanlysacekfan/index.php?act=idx) Birthday Project so it should.
