First world problem that you can, perhaps, help me solve:
We have one of those water-cooler looking water bowls for the cats.
Marvin is fascinated and has decided that a Very Fun Thing is to grab the bowl from behind with this front paws -- like he's giving it a bear hug -- and drag it across the floor, spilling out the water... which makes the bowl refill itself... so he drags it again... and it spills again.
Result: our kitchen floor needs to be mopped every few hours.
Things we've tried: wedging the bowl between furniture (he still manages to get his paws around the bow). Putting weight on top of the water-cooler bit (apparently he has super-kitten strength, because that hasn't worked, and the water jug isn't big enough to hold something that weighs, like, a ton). Putting mats/towels of various thickness/traction under the bowl so that he can't scoot it (NOTHING HAS WORKED). We think something with the thickness of a Welcome mat might work, but are open to other ideas, suggestions.
Anyone?
