the year 2005
so here is my recap of the year 2005. mostly filled with fun highlights. wish i could remember more.
january:
-brought in the new year with no drinking with people from my church. there was more alcohol at that party than the two others i would attend later. no new years kiss no nothing, but i sure did look good.
-hanging out with mike wright a ton.
-school started. dropped my history minor and class to take a bible class. started learning how to talk to people about jesus.
-started hanging out with the joels (rennert and taylor).
-started dating joel r.
february:
-ummm dont remember shit from this month. i was probably still hanging out with joel, going to work, school, etc.
-read a lot of good books in school that ended up changing my life. had a ton of revelations about what im supposed to be doing career wise.
-went to sundance with shauna b. Got drunk at 2 pm. and had a crazy time with random people. Saw saul williams, amongst other great musical acts. Got drunk again, waited awhile and drove home.
march:
-hanging out with shauna. saw modest mouse and ended up drunk and stoned.
-stop hanging out with joel. pretty much got effed over by him.
-went to atlanta for a week with my brother matt to visit family. saw my older brother and his family and also my estranged father and step mother. went to visit family and check out atlanta to see if i could move there. went to the revolution church and saw mewithoutyou in one night. AMAZING TRIP.
-quit the salt lake city library because my manager wouldnt let me go on the atlanta trip.
april:
-start working at barnes and noble solely.
-pretty much had a ton of alone time to study and develop relationships/friendships with people from church/school/work. I remember a lot of intellectual/emotional growth happened at this time.
-bradley hathaway bailed on the house tour i was sponsering, which sucked.
-ritas party
may:
-spring semester ended and summer semester begins
-met michelle in a drug and alcohol class at the U.
-hanging out with joel taylor more.
-andy moves into my house/room. sharing a room is hectic but fun.
-lots of crazy shit (drinking/little bit o weed/parties)
-jon (bitch ass) moves out
-happy family house
-crazy fun bachelor/bachelorette party...got way too wasted, started a fight, ran down the street in unknown shoes....cried...woke up in my bed with other passed out kids. hahahah
-got my chest tattoo
june:
-same shit as may for the most part. lots of effed up mistakes.
-saw mewithoutyou again and had a really amazing night with matt/mike/mewithoutyou dudes.
-met the love of my life and am forever changed.
-lots of hanging out with the annuals crew, being social, parties.
-lots of learning and letting go.
-rita gets married
july:
-brushin our tweef night....fun times but ended up puking off alcohol for the first time.
-love love love
-THE vegas trip (lots of craziness and fun times with a hint of we should get married)
-the 4/5th of july AMAZING
-andys party
-did i mention love love love?
august:
-school still
-decide to change my life to get ready to get married.
-trip to seattle to stay with clark/danielle/thomas
-heart breaks..took a shitty break from a loved one
-spiritual battles
-hardest time in my life
-most victorious time in my life
sept:
-decide to resume my life as is due to some circumstances
-start fall semester (only one class)
-decide to focus on God stuff fall semester
-learn to stand on my own for the most part
-spiritual/emotional battles
-heath problems
oct:
-best birthday ever!!!!!! (23 years with 2 dozen white roses and a ring!!!) AND DID I MENTION NINE INCH NAILS ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
-fall in love all over again
-bridesmaid in rachels wedding...fun fun fun..nervewracking as hell though
-reading a ton of the bible/c.s. lewis

-working a ton ton ton to save up for christmas
-work work work
-laurens wedding
-the best/worst thanksgiving ever
-get insurance/health/medical with my job
-bought my amazing laptop

-trying to read a ton of classics before i start full time in the spring
-getting a lot of shit done.
-get school stuff on track/pay off a ton of loans/get money straight
im sure a ton more will happen this month, because it IS only the 7th...ill update more.
