can i get an update? wha whaaaaaaaa!
soooo..those of you that know me know that i was in a major funk two weeks prior to this trip. well...the funk has totally disappeared and i feel like a new being. this trip is most definitely what i needed.
i love being around my family...seeing my dad was EXCELLENT. im proud to be of him no matter what.
ive been spending a lot of time with God here as well, and i hope to keep it up.
im motivated and ready to get things truly going as soon as i get home (as far as being organized/going to the gym/spening time with deserving people). im not wasting my time on people who could care less about me.
so the highlight of this entire trip (besides my dad of course) was monday night. my brother and i got dropped off at the masquerade. its weird being in a different town. if i was in slc id have known have the crowd. its so nice just to not have to worry about knowing people. mewithoutYou played at the same venue that the church service being held at.
i was completely and utterly surprised with the revolution. it was in a haunted place that was dark, had red lights, A BAR, and corpses in caskets. people were drinking beer and smoking during the service. it was pretty awesome. different, but awesome. i was surprised with how small the congregation was as well. there werent as many kids as i thought there was gonna be. i met an amazing girl named lydia who works for the rev. and we've been emailing. we'll see what happens with that. jay is an amazing man of god and i love his heart. he is one of my heroes. weird thing is..is that mike emailed me and told me lydia emailed him and told him jay is coming to the rock! small world.
mewitoutYou put on the best show (out of 3) that ive seen. the crowd was huge and they knew all the words. not many kids in slc were down for them. i think that the christian population here is much higher. the entire energy of the show was amazing. ill post pics soon.
i had a few drinks and everything felt perfect. wow. amazing night!!!!!!!!
bradley emailed me and things are a go for monday. im EXTRA excited. i feel like i could puke.
im ready to come home. i miss it.
