i got the most heart warming compliment at work today..
one of the sales manager's asked me to do an announcement, for her. because she really liked the announcements i was doing last week. and she's so nice. haha. she's kept saying i was the best, and i have to call her before i leave so someone else can take over, but they just wouldn't be as good as mine. it was a little mean, but it was funny. she's great.
at some point in the day, we somewhat crossed paths, and made eye contact, like we kind of wanted to talk to each other.. but nothing was really coming out, it was a little awkward, then she kind of blurts out "i just want to tell you i think you have a golden voice." my heart melted. awww. thank you!
i love my work. really hard. they are grade-a people. i'm glad i can be part of that, and express myself that way. and then there's the drama. oh boy! it's not perfect!
but it's good all 'round.
