More tenure news
Today the tenured faculty met to discuss my tenure case. They did not, however, have the formal meeting to vote as to whether to support the case. They voted to petition the dean for an extension. The chair discussed this with me this afternoon. He did not seem optimistic about the likelihood of an extension. The faculty apparently were unanimously in support of the extension; so that's good, I guess.
