This morning before going into work I stopped by a PNC bank to get cash. Ooops. "Out of Service" So I pay for gas with my credit card. I try the PNC ATM on campus. I insert my card. The card-slot door closes. The screen flickers and displays "Temporarily out of service." Card is gone. Card won't come back. I paid for my soup and half tuna melt with a credit card.
So after canceling the old ATM card and ordering a new one, which will arrive in 5-10 business days, I go to the local Super-Stop-&-Shop to get some cash. They have a PNC branch inside the supermarket. I get my cash and decide to get a little cheese and some Coca-cola. Rutgers, you see, switched to Pepsi so outside purchases of Coke for my office have become necessary. I go to check out and the check-out girl is talking to her friend, the other check-out girl. The subject is movies. Apparently chubby check-out girl is watching "A beautiful mind" as part of her MATH CLASS.
WTF?
It's no wonder we're outsourcing any job that requires half a brain.
