Playing the part of a real troublemaker

I don't know who released the Anonymous Press Release but I do know that either they were not involved in Wednesday's activities or they're lying out their ass.

Amazon was most certainly targetted but proved to be able to take the strain with the limited number of participants Anonymous had available at the time.  Mastercard melted under a mere 3000 hosts, Visa took more like 5000, Paypal took about the same once the attack vector was nailed down - Paypal keep trying ot hide their api servers, Anonymous keeps finding them - Amazon would, by Anonymous's best estimate, require about 12,000 active hosts worldwide plus associated voluntary botnets.

Don't get me wrong, Amazon deserves to be melted for their actions. Anonymous does not have the firepower to make it happen currently.

the revolution will not be televised
