Back in October, we noticed that some of our most regular customers weren't paying. After a few calls, it turned out that the checks were going to our old address. Not to worry, we had a forwarding notice on file so the money would arrive any day. Except that it didn't. Finally, the customers re-issued checks, which we picked up, and waited for the good old USPS to return the old mail. Today, our mail included five items with forwarding labels. The oldest was a Chase bank check postmarked Sep 29. The newest was a check mailed in Cottonwood on 12/07. There is still a check, mailed from Sedona on Tuesday, 12/08, missing.
Rejoice! If Congress has it's way, our health care system will soon come up to the performance level of the USPS.
