So yesterday our office mgr and one of the paralegals decided to go to storage. Storage is in the garage of a house that the boss is renting out. The ppl that used to live there moved out. So for some reason instead of walking through the back yard to go to the garage like we do, they decided to walk through the house. They ended up bringing fleas with them to the office. Like fleas were jumping off of them. It's the grossest thing I've ever heard of! I was pissed!! I got sent home b/c they were going to spray some stuff and I guess they ended up flea bombing the office last night. So I called in today and said that just to be safe I was staying home as to not harm my baby with the fumes. Apparently the office mgr was like "I don't smell anything" as if it was just a cop out for me to not go to work. I read online that the fumes left from flea bombing can cause still birth and I don't really feel comfy putting myself or my unborn child in that situation. It just pisses me off that ever since I told ppl in my office they look at me completely different. I know that Jess and I need the money and had I known that shit would be like this I'da never taken this job. I'm really starting to get annoyed with ppls attitudes at this place and if I continue to be tested I will be telling them all a piece of my mind!! I know I have to stay there as long as I can but I honestly don't know how much longer I can take it!!
