Job Thing

Apparently now I am working for Eurest. As of the second day at one place the chef person seems to think it would be better if I were there all week instead of two days. That makes two of them now. Is the world so utterly devoid of people who can do the washing up, fill vending machines and make sandwiches that I actually happen to the only one capable of it? It's not particularly complicated, even if you do keep obessive records of stock in the vague hope that enough weekly sales figures will lead to the ability to predict everything that is ever going to happen in the universe.

Amusing thing: the other day I tidied up my clothes and put them in a bag, then for one reason or another I was forced into choosing to lock up wine when I wasn't drinking it. The only think I could lock it in was the bag, and having a cork bottle with an old port or sherry cork in it was not a good idea. The zip made it open and I heard the depressing glugging sound of wine pouring somewhere other than one's own glass. The say never put all your eggs in one basket, but I would suggest never put all your clothes and open bottles of wine in one bag, not without precautions. Yesterday I taped the cork on: that's progress.

Life... you have to laugh, or else you'd kill yourself repeatedly.
