I dropped three movies in the mailbox at the same time.

The one, which I reported mislabeled as described in the referenced post, with the Swordfish sleeve and the Apocalypto content, as well as two others. I have occasionally sent back two discs in a single envelope (but two sleeves), and sometimes one disc isn't received until a day later than the first.

Although I would ask that you never underestimate the ability of the USPS to screw up. Sometimes it takes them 5 days to get netflix out to me (or back to netflix), instead of the usual 24 hours. Sometimes they just lose mail for two months which was mailed from a quarter mile away. Sometimes that mail never arrives (happened with a $700+ reimbursement check last fall). But maybe the Philly USPS does a better job than St. Louis.

Yeah, this confirms to me that if you send it back, and the barcode is visible, it gets processed mostly automatically.

Anything that needs extra attention gets tossed in a "manual" bin and they go figure it out later.
