This is the conference I'm attending this week. My boss and aikido teacher Stephan is mentioned in the article. I'm sad because I don't think the commenters actually read the article or they just didn't get what the conference is about. Everyone has a privilege bubble. Everyone. I might be in a target group (for example) for my race, gender, level of education, former income bracket or even size but I have privilege bubbles with my looks (well dressed/groomed, no disfigurations, fairly attractive, etc), physical fitness, current income bracket (not like, say, Stephan, but still solidly middle class), and the education I have through self-education, experience and opportunity. It's not about feeling bad about those positives but using them to change the world...like tools.
