Journey into a New Genre
So I just finished Alterd Carbon and damn is it an amazing book. Its my first real journey into cyberpunk and I like it alot. So now there is an entire new genre of books for me to read, any suggestions for the next book on my list?
Oh and road work sucks, when are they fucking going to be finished with the construction on 695? The trip from Sara's to my house usually takes about 15 minutes if the traffic isn't bad, and as it was 10 o'clock at night the traffic shouldn't have been bad. But there were lanes closed and the 15 minute trip took 55 minutes. Fuck you road work, fuck you to hell. And also this road work wasn't very well marked, all they had were little orange flags that said 'RIGHT LANES CLOSED 1 MILE AHEAD', and that was the first warning, 1 mile ahead. If there had been some warning I could have easily taken an alternate route on some back roads and the trip would have taken only 20 minutes. And on top of that I had a migraine so it was infuriating. Ok so that is all and I'm done venting for now.
To end this post on a high note Altered Carbon is fucking amazing, and the characters are awesome, especially the villians, I know David's favorite is Emcee Carnage but, I like Trepp, her world outlook is refreshingly cool, not unlike Sierra Mist.
