Since the one in Beaverton closed, Goonie and I went to the Nature's Wild Oats in Lake Oswego. This is totally un-newsworthy except for the fact that we had this conversation:
Me, after clutching my left eyebrow and grimacing in pain: "Ow."
oregoonie: "Do you ever get those horrible, stabbing pains in your temple?"
Me: "Noooo."
Goonie: "Man. I've had some really fucked up headaches."
Me: "You mean migraines?"
*laughter*
Me: "I think that actually is the medical term for a migraine: Really Fucked Up Headache."
And then I proceeded to terrorize her with my driving.
Explaining a delay caused by a major fight between the two warring factions of our feline population:
blood_thunder: did you die?
grubbygirl: I'm here!
blood_thunder: ooh, there you are
blood_thunder: you got so whisper quiet!
grubbygirl: sorry, had to send Homer off to work and then there was a huge rumble between the Sharks and the Jets
blood_thunder: OMG no way!
blood_thunder: Is Maria okay?
grubbygirl: Well, I was able to break things up, but she went home crying to Anita anyway
Gaddam, my LJ icon is HAWT.
There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture in the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes
By the deep sea,
And music in its roar;
I love not Man the less, but Nature more.
