So I'm turning 40 in the spring. I'm officially taking ideas on how best to celebrate this glam-rock event.
Here is where my thoughts have gone so far....
PART 1: Rent a house for a weekend in Russian River. Host a Bakespeare reading on the Friday evening for a small group, probably reading Hamlet in a marathon session. Go wine tasting on Saturday, followed by tipsy Twister playing and such.
PART 2: I am much less focused on what to do for a Colorado-based birthday event. The weather in early April is what we might delicately call uncertain, so a rooftop cocktail hour (which has been suggested to me) sounds risky. I think having an event at my house would be too crowded. Thoughts?
In related news, I'm finally looking my 39 years.
