I just spelled QUEASIER in Scrabulous, garnering 106 points for using all seven letters as well as the Q and various other point-earning bits and pieces. Such triumph I felt needs to be rubbed in the face of another male family member, but my brother doesn't play Scrabble ( Read more... )

Seconded. ... Though upon seeing the post I had to log in immediately to see if I was victim to the dread word play.

It's more hurtful to miss your father, and to know that he is still here. My father forgot my birthday totally, and over the past six months has totally cut me off failing to return in of my attempts to contact him.

As to QUEASIER, good job, will have to remember to try and use that one next time I play Qwerty on Pogo.

I seem to be bad at this game. Not because of linguistic ineptitude, but because I never seem to get notifications saying it's my turn. And then nothing happens. And then the game cancels itself. Is this happening right now? I have no idea! Probably!

They don't cancel themselves. If you and I are playing, and you don't make a move for seven consecutive days, I am offered a chance to "force win" which forces you out of the game. If there are other people in the game, we get to keep playing without you -- unless there have been very few moves (not sure how many), in which case it does abort the game altogether.

If people are patient and don't "force win" on you, then you don't have a time limit that I'm aware of.

Scrabulous stopped sending me notices a bit ago (couple of weeks?), for which I'm grateful. I have so many games going that I check every day without the need for reminders...

I was going to say that you're my hero, but then it hit me: ON-LINE SCRABBLE??? How have I missed this?

Oh, I am signing up tomorrow.
