Bread pudding, Tom Stoppard

As I sipped my port and he his Manhattan, and we shared an order of the sour cherry bread pudding (by now bay area folks will know exactly which restaurant I mean) -- and let me pause here to say he'd never had their bread pudding before! -- I noted that their bread pudding was the best bread pudding I've had on this continent. Well, there are plenty of other masterpieces besides Arcadia that are all Stoppard (as opposed to Brazil, which is largely Terry Gilliam); Rosencrantz and Gildenstern Are Dead, for one. He's mostly known in Britain and in theatrical circles here; I dare say Shakespeare in Love is the most well-known work of his this side of the pond.

well, my main point was that Brazil was the ONLY thing I saw him associated with that I had actually seen. Brazil is DEFINITELY more of Gilliam than anyone else.
