Four of clubs
I spent last evening, for the first time in probably a couple of years, playing cards by the hour. I learned two new games, too -- both Rummy-esque games -- called (I think) Kings and Shanghai. PNBF's friends are quite a good gang. And I have now learned that PNBF is willing to hold a four of clubs in his hand basically as long as he needs to in order to prevent me from melding. (I'm melding! I'm melding!)
I made myself wake up at 10 a.m. today so that waking up tomorrow at 5 a.m. would be less painful. I still think it will be quite painful, but maybe I'll go to bed by midnight tonight this way.
I do hope that the weather stays good, so I don't have to cancel band rehearsal. I think today will be mostly cleaning my room (i.e. filing two years' worth of papers) and prepping for band.
