I don't know, he has dropped to many hints pointing towards Jon and then he tried to misdirect us by having Maester Aemon comment on how they were all wrong, and they should have been looking for a princess that was promised(Danny). Now if we want to get into it, GRRM has spent too much time on Jon and keeping his past a secret. What was Ned's promise to Lyanna (Ice)? Probably to keep her son (Jon) safe from Robert. Why? Because Jon is Rhaegar's (Fire) son. The Song of Ice and Fire is Jon. The third head of the dragon, Jon and his half brother Aegon and half sister Rhaenys Targaryen. There has to be three, Danny's vision shows Rhaegar saying this, he needed 1 more kid to complete the prophecy. We know Rhaegar knew about the prophecies, which led him to becoming a warrior. He knows what is coming...Winter...oooooooohhhhh, scary! And Jon Snow knows the same thing.
Why were 3 of the King's Guard, including Rhaegar's best friend Arthur Dayne, with Lyanna at Starfall? To protect the royal family...prince Jon, maybe even new wife Lyanna. Events also point to Lyanna dying in child birth the bloody bed smelling of roses. Mirri Maz Duur also mentioned knowing all the birthing songs of the bloody bed. Also, if Jon is low born , why would he share a nursing maid with the heir to Starfall?
Anyway, that all i have for now. Howland Reed will fill us in later.
