An Homage to Dicks and Dickens

(The scene opens on a 19th century London village.  A blanket of snow enshrouds the peaceful town on this fine morning, as the townspeople are just beginning to move about their business.  A second story window bursts open, and we see LIOTTA in his dressing-gown and nightcap.  He spots a young boy along the road.)

LIOTTA: "You there!  Boy!"

BOY: "Yes sir?"

LIOTTA: "What day is today?"

BOY: "Why, it's COMICON day, sir!"

LIOTTA: "Ha ha!  I'm alive!   Marley, I'm alive!  Say there, boy!"

BOY: "Yes sir?"

LIOTTA: "Bring me a writer!  The fattest writer in all of Santa Fe!"

BOY: "I'm not sure I know where that is, sir."

LIOTTA: "Which is why you will die penniless in the street, you ignorant rabble.  Read a goddamned book once in a while!"

And thus, everyone had a joyous COMICON.  C2E2, here I come!
