Okay, the big fella is really getting full of himself, isn’t he? I saw a few of your comments about the library construction, but I didn’t remember to stop over at the NAB until today. And wow…I’d say that George has some real balls on him to put up that brag library, except that I would then get in a rut of trying to think of funny food-related ( Read more... )

Why does everyone post here anonymously like you have something to hide?

Because Martin's sycophants have been known to stalk and start drama and all these good people want is a safe space in which to vent their frustrations without being attacked for it.

Or they don't have LJ accounts.

What's it to you?

Because I've always felt that you should never be afraid to express your opinion.

Because I forgot I had an LJ account... Damn! I am NOT going back and reposting all those damn haikus.

Can't be arsed setting up an LJ account. Got more than enough to juggle. It hardly makes a difference anyway. It's not like people are all using their real names.

I've never hidden. I always try to sign my posts here with my board name from Westeros (though admittedly I forget to do so from time to time), and if a person cared to go view my profile there, they'd find my email. Heck, I'll even provide it here, warduck24 at hotmail dot com.

Now, as to this thread's original topic... I'd be a lot more supportive of this library tower if Dance was one of the books that are currently in it. As it is, my first thought when I saw that post was "Great, now he has more excuses not to work on Dance, arranging and rearranging his miniatures and admiring his book collection."

Unfair, perhaps, but after so long waiting for the book, I'm afraid I now watch all his new posts with a negative "How can this further delay Dance?" lense.

Well said, Krafus. And so painfully true. I do the exact same thing.

I'm anonymous because I'm too lazy to look into a LiveJournal account, especially as I'm here on work time, and I'm on too many other message forums as it is. I'm Roland of Gilead on many other boards.

I just the love the moniker 'warduck' - it sounds like a sweet Redwall character. Perhaps you have something there for a line of children's books. The pond is being threatened by a group of rogue toads. Momma duck has eight new hatch-lings. What can they do? Everyone else has fled. The toad captain, Bulwort, has been known to eat more than just flies. A lone wanderer, stops for and drink armed with just a walking stick…..but he knows how to use it…………….WARDUCK.

My thanks to both of you... Lol, I'd never thought of my moniker in association with children's books. I actually created it so it would match my handle on a now-gone BattleTech board.

why do you post anonymously? Is your name dark haru? are you a black thing-a-ma-jig like the guy in your avator? Does having and registered pseudonym and an unregistered pseudonym really matter that much?
