Grrrlesque

LIVEJOURNALS I HAVE HAD THROUGHOUT THE YEARS: These are listed in order from my first to my last livejournal usernames: i_am_ruined, ___nazicar, _girlparts_, dollspit, and now grrrlesque.
I would like to forget about all of them, as I am starting new with this journal.
THE REASON BEHIND THE USERNAME:
grrrlesque is a username I thought of through an email I sent to people about making a riot grrrl e-zine, which is no longer around and was called "Grrrlvox". I was asking for suggestions for some names we could call the zine. "grrrlesque" was a zine name choice, so I thought I'd choose it as a username because I like the sound and spelling of it. I was going to use "girlesque", but it was already taken. I had my mind set on using one of these names: "boygrinder", "girlsvomitcandy", "girlbruise", "grrrlsvomitcandy", or "doll_steak". My 2nd choice was "grrrl_riot", However, I have that username on various websites throughout the internet, so I thought it'd be too obvious for a username, so I chose grrrlesque. I also have "grrrlriot" as a username on various websites on the internet too. Also, the idea of girlesque rhymeing with burlesque...I liked the sound of it.
INTRODUCTION TO THIS JOURNAL:
This journal is FRIENDS ONLY. I will have a few public entries, but most of my entries will be friends only. I use lj-cuts on most of my entries because most of my entries are long and about different stuff. Sometimes, I use more than 1 lj-cut in some of my entries due to the fact that the entry contains lots of different topics, This is why this entry has more than 1 lj-cut.

My first livejournal ever was i_am_ruined, but I let it die. I outgrown that journal and hated the username. I never deleted it for the fact that it was my FIRST livejournal. I never did get a livejournal when I was in school. I had actual journals (diaries) that I wrote in back then. Since I have gotten out of school, I have written in livejournals and other journals. I used to have like 12 journals on different journal sites, but I let them die. Obviously, 12 journals were too many for me to handle. Then, I created ___nazicar, which I named because it was a lyric in 2 songs. (Scarling-The Last Day I Was Happy and Hole-Babydoll) I don't regret having any of my old journals, except for the i_am_ruined journal. Around the time ___nazicar was around, I made a 2nd journal just for the sake of it, _girlparts_. I thought of the song by Hole called Dollparts, so I thought of "girlparts". After making both journals, I decided to stop using them and to create dollspit. I thought of the name "dollspit" because an old riot grrrl website was called "Dollspit" and I used to enjoy visiting it. Then, I decided to quit using it too and since I'm getting older all the time, I thought grrrlesque could be a journal I use for a very long time.
I no longer use my greatestjournals. If you are on greatestjournal, I suggest you join or move over here to LiveJournal. You can join livejournal without posting in your new livejournal, You can use it just to read my entries. You can post in your new livejournal as well, It's up to you.
My FRIENDS ONLY ENTRY and this entry will ALWAYS appear at the TOP of my main journal page. The friends only entry will be the first entry everyone sees that visits my journal and this entry will be the second entry everyone sees when visiting my journal. That is why I put a fake year on both entries, to make them appear at the top of the page. This way everyone can find the friends only entry and will see it first thing when they come to my journal. The second entry everyone will see when coming to this journal will be this entry.
I noticed that my friends only banner no longer works, so I made myself one, see my "Friends Only" entry.
