It Could Be Worse ext_2460595 September 10 2017, 21:06:24 UTC
I don't know much about football, but my husband, who is a New York fan, wants me to let you know that it could be worse. They could still have Sanchez. He also says 2018 will be better as long as they don't win more than 3 games this season.

On the bright side, the Jets will be competing for the #1 pick. They need a franchise QB if they hope to turn things around.

Would Kaepernick not have been better than McCown?

Maybe. Depends on what your goal is.

If the goal is winning four or five games this year, yeah.

If your goal is eventually winning a SuperBowl, no. Kaepernick will never lead a team to a SuperBowl.

I just wonder if their intent is to try and lose every game this season and come last, do the fans stick by them? As I recall you've been suffering with this team for several years now?

People do sometimes need something to cheer about.

I agree. Kapernick was not a long term solution. I am hoping the Jets have a long term plan.

I wish your Jets success in getting Darnold if that is their goal as it appears to be. The Giants, I wish them a long quiet flight home tonight. Go Boys!

The Lions took me for a ride this afternoon. Started awful and then crushed the Cardinals, who were favored to win. So far so good!
