There are a few notable QBs coming out in the draft this year. Watson of House Clemson has just triumphed and won the National Championship. Kizer of House Notre Dame is a young and cerebral lord who has blown away interviewers with his thoughtfulness. Trubinski of House UNC is more of a project, similar to Petty and Hackenburg (not what the Jets are looking for).
The WR dilemma is also problematic, although I will admit that Enuwa and Anderson are two young players who stepped up when there were injuries to the WR corps. There are a lot of WRs coming out in Free Agency, so that may be where the team goes looking. TE has always been a gaping hole in this roster.
It could be worse you could be an Eagles fan like me.
Those QBs are the class of '17. With the sixth overall pick, the Jets could pick up one of them easily enough, assuming there is one they love. No need to cut loose all their veterans for that.
It's the class of '18 that I am wondering about. Is there a once-in-a-lifetime arm in that class?
I thought you Iggles fans were excited about Carson Wentz.
I would think the Jets invest in QB this year, because there really is no viable option to start Week 1. My class of '18 knowledge isn't as deep but I am familiar with the current NYJ roster. Bowles was a former coach in PHI as well.
And Carson Wentz is the Prince Who Was Promised.
One day he will lead us to the Iron Throne, a fixture that we have never sat upon before.
I can't believe Maccagnan cut all of our vets, I mean what kind of sadistic person would just cut our favorite people out of our lives with little to no closure

Marshall wanted to leave. bigbadbruin270March 3 2017, 22:11:32 UTC
Brandon Marshall wanted out. Hell, maybe he wanted to end up with a team that can win a title, a team that's also in the AFC East.
I honestly don't get why they signed Revis to such a hefty contract at his age as a CB. He's old, his play is going to dip, and we saw that last season. Hell, due to the arrest, he might not even play next season. So maybe it's smart that they let him go.
