I like what the Giants have done so far in the draft, especially with Apple and Shepard. Not so much with the J-E-T-S but what do I know as a Lions fan.

I want to personally thank you for your books. Reading is my go-to when my depression flairs up, and your writing has kept me going more times that I can possibly count. Thank you George. I look forward to Winds, though take all the time you need.

Fitz claims he was so offended by the jets offer that he will never play for the jets again. I don't love the hackenberg pick.... But I'm a pac 12 guy and only saw him play a handful of times. I'm a big Niner fan.... And they have a lot of issues. You want some book ideas for distinctionality, the niners got you covered. Now that Denver took a qb.... The kaep to Denver deal is dead. You feel like the hackenberg pick prevents you guys from adding a vet qb like kaep? Too much bad blood between the niners front office and kaep. What kind of offer you got for me George?

Geno Smith in Santa Clara might actually work if Chip Kelly tries to implement his up tempo offense in San Francisco.

I've seen Hackenberg play a few times. He's the first Penn State QB to lose to Maryland since the Eisenhower administration - and while some of that was on Penn State's Offensive line... well, if Hackenberg can't handle college pressure what's he gonna do in the NFL. Maybe... he was always touted, and he looks the part, but I'm not seeing it.

As for Geno. I wouldn't trade a sack of footballs for him. Ooof.

I find it fascinating that even with this vast college and school machine producing so many high quality players, the level of competition at the top is such that even the few big teams at the top of the pyramid have difficulty finding enough really good players to fill their rosters with.
