The Jean Cocteau Cinema was Santa Fe's first "arthouse" theatre (it opened in 1977, as the Collective Fantasy), and one of the hallmarks of so-called arthouses is that they show foreign films that the big multiplexes don't touch

Alex is big on the Spanish-speaking world. In fact, he wrote the prologue for the Spanish edition of AFFC, I don't know if you have read it, but he's a huge fann.

Yes. I've met Alex, and even visited one of his sets. He's a great guy, and a very talented director.

I saw the Mermaid on the same day that I saw Batman v Superman. It was a very trippy day at the movies.
