Yeah. I hate to be that guy, but it was just too different from the book series imo. They were pseudo philosophical and pretty adult in nature so I felt betrayed. That's one of the reasons I enjoy GoT even when it deviates from ASoIaF, it stays true to the overall tone of the books, if not the exact plot. That being said, I'm glad there are people who liked it. I fell off of reading Goodkind after the Chain fire books but still feel the nostalgia since he and David Eddings started my fantasy obsession.

Its been an awesome year, full of suspense and excitement waiting for any word of Winds. And even today, I sit on the edge of every word and post hoping that at any moment I will read some kind of confirmation for its release. But you dastardly master of suspense, you! I know, that you know exactly what you're doing to me and the multitudes of other starved fans slavering over every post.
You've become something akin to that first Fredericks of Hollywood catalog I stole from my stepfathers collection years past. Every page a promise of something I've been lusting for (albeit emotions not entirely understood at the time), but whats promised or assumed always hiding behind the sheerest curtain of dainty fabric... Still hidden.
Keep it up! "Get Hype!" And have a wonderful year! I can only hope that it's as prosperous and fun as last!

I write this comment as I look out onto the Kull from my Staten Island apartment window. I live on the north shore between the Bayonne Bridge & the ball park you visited this past summer. That's all, just figured I'd share!
