Thank you for writing a wonderful series. Thank you for working so hard on something that so many people have loved. And best of luck in the coming year for more beautiful wonderful things

I'm sorry your last year started on such a scary note, and very happy your new year is starting on a better one! I've been in and out of hospitals most of my life, and it IS scary.

So to start this new year, I want to thank you again for the world you've created - you made parts of this year much easier to handle than they would have been otherwise - many smiles, and gasps, and being transported into a world you've created - has been inspirational and a thrilling ride! Looking forward to what you come up with in '12!

Thank you again and have a GREAT and healthy year, filled with even more grand accomplishments.. but even more important than those accolades, even more great stories that even just you can enjoy.. stories are life! :D

Not many people would consider ASOIAF to be the kind of entertainment to bring a smile to your face. Hee. Not that I don't smile at the witticisms, but it's such a bleak series, esp. books 1-3.

What's your profile picture from? It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.

I'm a new fan because of all the ranting and raving that happened over Song of Ice and Fire. Devoured all the books and the new bit you just published onto the site. Delicious. Sorry, I like using food adjectives for other things.

You deserve the accolades. Writing books is like raising children, you can put everything into them and do your best and the success just isn't up to you.

Congrats and wishes for many more great years.

Although I thought that your fourth and fifth books were not so good at the first three (mainly because of the pacing), I still think that they are pretty awesome, and hope that you will be able to wrap up the series in good health. Best wishes for 2012, good ser.
