So tonight marks a passing of...well, something. Im leaving for Australia in three days, and my friend Christian is leaving for Dayton, OH for good in just about the same amount of time. A couple of our close friends are getting together tonight to celebrate and bid adieu with a home cooked meal, pot luck style. I decided to mark such an occasion, that I would (attempt to) make my grandma's sweet potato casserole that I love so much. I've never made it before, and I'm a little nervous, so I hope it turns out alright.
My passport came in, it is the ugliest effing picture I have ever seen in my entire life. However, it does give me an idea of what my mugshot would look like should I ever be incarcerated. Oh well, it means I can leave the country so that's all that matters. I have to call AmEx tomorrow to set up my electronic Visa, and then I'm all set. You know, besides the packing. Details, details.
