Question that i should have asked in July
Question: Nicoel and I got married in July. Well Civil-Unioned I don't want Bush's men swooping down and breaking our necks for saying married) anyway we have yet to pick up our marriage certificate due to laziness mostly. Anyway I was wondering since Nicole wants to take my last name does she have to pay and go through all of that bullshit that trans people and other people who just want to change their name have to go through? Or can she legally get her name changed on license and social security card ect without all the hassle like straight people can? Other friends of mine who got "married" a few days before us are having to go through all the fuss but I'm figuring that's because they made up a whole new last name for them and their twins on the way.
