(no subject)
I'm bored at work. Which is going to cause me to start updating more. I key orders way too fast so i'm left with nothing to do. I need to slow down. Idle hands..anyway I brought our wedding album in at the insistance of the ladies in the office. Who I must say are very supportive on the civil union tip. I thought i would get a lot of "oh that's nice" but they are like tearing up and saying "your pictures are beautiful, you both look so happy, your wife is gorgeous" very cool. This one lady an older woman who i've been thinking may be a little slow came past my desk and asked to see the album so i gave it to her and she took it back to her desk and came back like 20 minutes later and said "those pictures are really beautiful i wish you the best of luck" which i thought was nice especially since she's an older lady and they usually like to spat our nastiness about anything not circa 1924. But then she leans down and gives me a kiss on the cheek and a hug. I was thinking to myself did that really just happen? Does anyone know the meaning of personal space. I barely like to hug and kiss certain family members let alone special needs old ladies at my job whom i know nothing about. weird. In other news Nicole got a new job yesterday. Its a temp job but a good one at a hospital billing center and the perks are its Mon-Fri 9am-5pm as opposed to her other job which was whenever they felt like scheduling her usually 3pm-2am. so we never saw each other besides she never had a free weekend so we could never do anything with anyone else either. But the best part is its right down the street AND she's off her feet all day so it won't contribute to her back pain. I'm happy for her. For us. Because I get to see my wife rather then in the middle of the night when I get up to go to the bathroom and I glance at her sleeping next to me. So this situation is much more ideal.And now we can utilize the beach that is a mere 13 blocks from our place. Lovely. I wished we lived by other fatties other then us and theresa so we could all go to the nude beach. le sigh. Anyway that's all I got for right now really. <3
