What ever happened to playing games for fun??
I don't hate you, but I just want to save you while there's something left to save.
I'm not bored of Halo Reach. I haven't been playing it because of the other people that play it. People have forgotten to play games for fun. It seems like, especially for fps games, that people play to determine who has the biggest e-penis.
The thing that bugs me most about the Halo community is the elitist attitude a lot of players have. It's like they don't want you to play unless you're the Michael Jordan of video games. If you suck but like to play, people give you a hard time over it. "You're trash, go play CoD." Why thanks, I have noticed that my k/d sucks. So what? I play games to have fun. Don't take it so seriously, you're not getting paid to play it either.
For an example of what I mean, here's an actual quote from an elitist douche. BK means "bad kid", btw. It's meant as an insult to anyone who wasn't a 50 in Halo 3. *eyeroll*
Your a bk major in halo 3 i wouldn't be calling anyone horrible LOL. Only bk's like you like Reach because it was made for scrubs just like you who couldn't compete in the previous halo games and always complained about their horrible ranks being visible. If i was bad at the previous halo games i might like Reach myself IMO.
There's also a common sentiment among people that imagine themselves to be Halo gods that if you use armor lock, you're trash. If you use any of the armor abilities, you're trash. Um, they were put in the game to be used? U mad bro because you can't use them/counter them properly? XD I think it's funny that they complain about it. If they were really so "pro", it wouldn't be a problem. I imagine part of their issue is that the so-called BKs actually have a chance of winning, since the playing field is more even in Reach with the armor abilities.
It's just really irritating that people can't deal with change. Why should Halo Reach be just like Halo 3? I want to play Halo Reach, not Halo 3.5.
