Bad Idea
I have been posting all kinds of things on Gaza at myspace and facebook, so I'll take a break here.
I watched Eraserhead for the first time the other night...oh god! Fuck is that the wrong film to watch while pregnant! Rosmary's Baby is nothing compared to the baby in Eraserhead. If you've watched it you know. The only other David Lynch film I've seen is Blue Velvet, and I didn't like it. I liked Eraserhead, but it made me feel very uneasy.
Other than that I am still waiting to watch Shakespeare in Prison, they perform The Tempest...I am weary of the reform/redemption speeches that might be in this film, but am hoping for better. I know little about the Tempest other than what I learned in Literature of the Caribbean Diaspora; I'm not sure colonialism will be discussed in this film.
I wish I had a camera...cos I have a fucking awesome beer belly! :P
