Oh, sun, sun, sun, sun, sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot tell you the difference it makes to me when the sun is out. I feel better, I eat better, everything just seems okay when it's sunny.
I've ordered all my hanging basket plants today, in the hope that I can get them all done Easter weekend. (Is it sad that I am so excited about this?)
In other news I had a bit of an Ab Fab moment on Saturday when I received a phonecall from my mum's best friend, telling me not to worry but my mum was a bit worse for wear and so she'd put her to bed at her house.
After speaking to my (hungover) mum, yesterday night, it seems that she went out (with all her old school friends, who meet up every few months) for lunch/dinner, drank copious amounts of wine, then moved onto champagne, then proceeded to throw up...In the middle of the restaurant!!!!
She doesn't remember anything after they left! I'm not sure whether to be impressed or ashamed that on a Saturday night I (aged 35), sat indoors on my computer, while my mum (aged 60) went out, got shitfaced and caused a scene!!!!!!!!
On the plus side, she started a new job today, just part time temping, but she seemed to enjoy it and it gets her out of the house for 20 hours a week.
